Cross bike project 4 (check tube set) - クロスバイクプロジェクト４（チューブのチェック）

Check butted length. バテッドの長さをチェックする。この後ゲージでさらに確認。

Check tube for warpage. Pretty good! チューブの反りをチェック。

Mark convex side. 凸側にしるしをつける。

Butted length, weight, warpage... I always check everything to make sure the tube spec. Some tubes sometimes have a lot of warpage ( It depends on the manufacturer.). So I always make the tube be convex upward when I work (machining) tubes to make a straight alignment on a frame.
After this, I will make a tubing drawing to cut them and then, I can start to cut the tubes.　(*In Seven, we do not do this because it takes time to work. But basically, there is no big problem even if this process is not done. I just personally do this process.)



チューブのチェックを行う。バテッドの長さ、重量、反り具合などチューブのスペックをチェックする。
チューブによっては反りが大きいものもある（メーカーによって異なる）。基本的にチューブを機械加工する時は反りのある側を上にしてアライメントが一直線上にくるようにする。
この後、チューブを機械加工するための図面を作る。そして加工をスタート。
（＊Seven ではこの作業は行われません。しかしその事によって大きな問題が生じることもありません。この過程は個人的に行っているものです。）
