The 10th year effort!? This frame does not have any distortion (after welding). I finally got understand something(?) through my body (experience), not only the theory... From today, my 10th year career as a frame builder just started.

１０年目の成果であろうか？今日溶接したこのフレーム、ねじれ、歪みなどのギャップはほぼゼロだった。フレームアライメントの修正一切不要。
やっと分かってきたか？身体（経験）を通して、理屈だけでなく。今日からこの仕事、１０年目に突入した。

Electricity setting

He is doing a good job!

My electrician came to my shop to set up electricity for the machines. He accepted my request kindly that I had to come here after my work at Seven. After all, he worked till around 9:00pm and he will come back tomorrow mornig at 7:00am again to finish up! I thank your kindness and careful work.

電気工事の人がマシーンの電気環境のセットアップのためにショップにやってきた。（6：00pm）自分がSeven の仕事の後でしか来れないということで、夕方からになったのだが、彼は快く引き受けてくれた。結局今日は9:00pmまでやって終了。明日の7:00am にきて午前中に全て終わらしておいてくれるということになった。あなたの親切と丁寧な仕事に感謝します。

H.B by blast finish

バッジの角をもう少し丸くしようかな？

K-head badge, blast finish. I will make polished finish one, too. Blast one is good for clear coat-painted frame and polished one is for blasted Ti frame, maybe. Only one thing I wanted to do in this H.B was to put "KUALIS" lengthwise.

K-ヘッドバッジ、ブラスト仕上げ。ポリッシュ仕上げされたものも作る予定。ブラストされているHB は多分クリアコートされた（ペイントされた）フレームにしっくりくるような気がする。一方でポリッシュ仕上げされたものは、ブラスト仕上げのチタンフレームに合うかもしれない。。。
このヘッドバッジを作るときには特にこだわりはなかった。思いいれのようなものはあまりヘッドバッジには入れたくなかったし、あまりいじくり倒したファニーなデザインのものにもしたくなかった。あっさりしたものにしたかった。
しいて言うなら、、、縦にKUALIS の文字を入れたかったこととその隣にロゴを置きたかったことだろうか、て見たまんまですが。。。

Ready for building KUALIS bikes. I am just waiting for the frame fixture and some tools from Sputnik tool and just need to purchase some small things like hole saws. Anyway I have to start with three Ti frames first and more Ti,,, No! I need to make three steel ones after that!! I believe that you cannot understand its interest about frame building unless you try. I really want to make bicycle frames soon!

KUALIS フレーム製作スタートの準備が大分整ってきた。後はオーダーしているフレーム冶具やツールがくるのを待っている（これは自分ではどうにもなりません。ただ待つのみ）のと、幾らかの必要なものを購入するだけとなった（ホールソーなど。これは直ぐに手に入る）。ウェルディング環境もTim の好意などにより、今の自分のSeven での環境よりすばらしいものになった。（これは一番の要ですからね。これだけは妥協できません。）
とりあえず、チタン３本まず最初、で、引き続きチタンを、、、いや、クロモリ３本間に入れやんとまずい！　
この仕事が自分にとっての天職！？かどうかは分からないが、、、早よつくりたい～～～！！！とおもうばかりである。

I want to make a great seamless bead someday...
For people, it is not a big deal such a thing, but for me (who makes products), it is an important matter.
Customer make decisions the quality of products all the time. But we (people who make and sell products) shouldn't think any product shoddy even if it is not a big deal for people...
If we don't think it is an important matter, we will produce a lot of unnecessary products or trash.
I want to go forward, sometimes taking myself a little less seriously, but always try to be better for customers...

いつかシームレスな最高の溶接ができるようになりたい。。。
一般の人にとってみれば大したことではないかもしれないが、ものをつくる側にいる自分にとってはいい加減に考えられない部分である。
モノの良し悪しはカスタマーが決める。その価値観は人それぞれ。だからといって物を作る側、売る側はそれに合わせてこんなもんでいいだろうと考えているとくだらないものばかりが増える気がする。時に肩の力を抜きながら、しかし常に厳しくお尻をたたいていきたいものである。
