Purge

We use some special welding tools when welding Ti frame. This is one of them. It is used for D.O weld to keep clean. Each welder has each style and they make it themselves as they like.
This is mine. Gas goes through the thin tube and diffuse from the small holes. A lot of shaving is packed in it.

チタンフレーム溶接時に、幾つかのスペシャルなツールを使用する。これがその中の一つ。リアエンドの仕上げ溶接に使うものである。ウェルダーによってこの形など異なり、各々が使い勝手の良いものを自分で考えてつくる。
ちなみに、これは自分の。ガスが細い管を通りいっぱい穴の開いた部分から外へ拡散するようにできている。中には細かい削りくずがパッキングされている。（削りくずをつめる事で、きめ細かくガスが拡散する。）
